The Fitwel process consists of 6 steps, we are involved every step of the way, from Registering the project up to the Certification step done by Center for Active Design. For the certification, evidence of more than 70 strategies has to be provided - we are happy to gather and submit all this documentation.
A BUILDING RATING SYSTEM FOR HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Fitwel provides 70+ evidence-based strategies in seven categories on how to design and operate healthier buildings. It awards ratings of 1 to 3 stars.
DESIGN CERTIFICATION AND BUILT CERTIFICATION
The certifications are based on a portfolio approach ranging from Commercial interior space to Senior housing, and Community space. It is a rating system for existing buildings, but can also be used a road map to aid the design of new buildings. So almost any type of building or precinct can be certified.
